This is one of the most popular places to do a wine tasting – I tend to visit this winery every visit, and tend to also buy the same dessert wine (the one in the blue bottle). The tasting sizes are generous, and the staff have always been helpful in teaching the art of wine tasting. I love the wine accessories here too – wine classes, wine gadgets etc. Great presents for the wine lover (or for me!) Also love the cheese shop outside. Wine & cheese; the perfect Hunter weekend!

I always make a point of stopping at McGuigans when in the Hunter. It's a great Cellar door with lots of variety, merchandise, wine, cheese, tours and snacks. I've been a member of the club for some years which also offers good discounts, and the boxes of wine can be shipped home. Worth a stop.
We couldn't ask for anymore - our group for every year that we have organised a dancers Road Trip to the Hunter Valley we have been to McGuigans...you need to see our photos on YouTube under LetsMooveNGroove to understand.
