In case the response from the company is that they cannot find us in their data base, my husband Tam is the one who contacted Phillip for the service. If I can give 0 star I would pick 0. Paid $150 before they even check our TV. We felt that the quote for fixing our TV is too high so we decided not to go ahead. It took them 2 weeks instead of one week as they promised to return our TV and they gave us a broken remote instead of our original one. When we call up and ask to make sure our TV is still our original one as they swapped our remote. The guy called Phillip got so offended and start screaming on the phone how dare we asked that question? How dare we accuse him stealing thing? We paid $150 and we can't ask a simple question to make sure our TV is our original one? Answer our a simple question if you have nothing to hide! Why get offended? Think twice before you use this service! We will not use them again for sure!
I just wanted to say I have been extremely satisfied with MDTS. I received excellent customer service from Phill. He contacted me promptly after my call for help concerning my 85 inch 4K TV. He patiently explained and walked us through the issues with our very expensive TV and made us feel very comfortable with the service he would be providing with no surprises!

I wish I had read these reviews prior to engaging Melbourne Digital Television Services to provide a damage report for my insurance company. My experience with MDTS started off well, Phillip responded to my query promptly and arranged an after-hours visit to inspect and prepare a report. My television had been dropped and had a 1cm vertical white line at the edge of the screen. It was still operating with no significant issues. Phillip agreed the TV was a write off for insurance purposes but then decided he needed to take it back to his workshop to inspect "just to be sure". Prior to arriving and seeing the TV in good working order, he had not mentioned any need to remove the TV, in fact he originally offered to provide the report remotely based on my description of the damage. I contacted Melbourne Digital Television Services because my television screen was cracked. The gentleman that answered the phone was very polite. He explained that the TV was not economical to repair and asked if I had home and contents insurance. Because I did not he told me it was time to go shopping. I found it very courteous and polite for him to tell me the truth rather than still charge me the pickup fee and then tell me the TV was unrepairable. I would definitely recommend MDTS to others.
