I've been to many vetenary clinics in my time, and most of the staff I've encountered are cold and disconnected. And believe me, our animals can sense this more than we can, and it's damaging to their health if they are anxious or scared, especially if they are already sick. This is why I couldn't be more thankful to Mirrabooka and to Theo, Teagan and Kylie. They were all so warm and caring. They took the best care of my boy over the last 4 weeks. He had many many visits and a few overnight stays. And it was the small things that meant the absolute most to me. They texted me updates all day whilst he was staying there, and they let me visit him before and after work every day. I called every vet in Perth and most told me I had to put him down, others quotes insane prices, but Mirrabooka took me through all my options, and the prices they quoted were a fraction of the other clinics. I went to have my pooch Ben sterilised as we have been going to Mirrabooka vets for about 14 years or so. They were fantastic as always likewise when we took both dogs in after getting kennel cough form the boarding kennels :( they were great and even greater lol when I rushed Ben in with a limp tail last year ;( it was really late and I had no money on me and they were SO kind. My ONLY little suggestion would be maybe they could keep in touch with their patients a little ....would be nice to get the odd bit of info if they are having any specials or have recommendations of products ect. I have recommended lots of others to them over the years and my friend has been going on my suggestion for many years too.I sadly feel like a stranger when I go as the staff seem to change everytime I go.Other vets send out vouchers and letters to their regular long devoted patients and their famillies its a pity Mirrabooka dont do the same. Went there fir the first time to do the annual vaccination for my two dogs. It was reasonable price and the vet just gave me a discount for bringing two dogs over (without me asking for it). The vet was almost closing but the guy was really still very nice and patient. He examined my dogs health, answering my questions, showing me some interesting dog stuff on the net.. Would definitely go back again.
What a lovely bunch they are at mirrabooka vets.Few yrs ago I had to have my beloved 12 yr old blue heeler put to sleep she had cancer.Tony was so gentle and kind thru such a difficult time I will never forget the sensitivity that he and all the staff showed to us.I then got another little dog and although she has only been there once the level of care was amazing.I now have a SECOND dog and hope to take him there soon to be desexed.Its great to have such a reliable vet so close to home and to have the comfort of knowing how professionaly helpful and kind they all are.
