My daughter has anxiety and depression and low self esteem after being bullied at school. She had her hair highlighted but was very upset because it wasn't to her expectation. Momo agreed to her coming back and they would lighten her hair some more. The staff were friendly and concerned and my daughter is now happy with her hair. Thank you to all
I will not be going to Momo hairdressing again for one reason: in Nov 14 I had a trim for $49. I later received a text offering $15 off for my bday so I went a got the same trim today Jan 15 which cost me $41. It's not the money that bothered me. It's the reaction from the management who tried hard to hide their distaste of me using the voucher and the fact they took the hairdresser aside probably to tell them what to charge me, which in fact was not a $15 discount. The business does not act with integrity.
I don't know why I went back a second time! First time I had someone who apparently knew what to do with curly hair.. but clearly didn't. was very rude, didn't try and even make conversation. Was too busy chatting to the person next to me. The last time I went which was just on the weekend, I had a staff who I didn't make an appointment with, i was given this staff because the staff I requested was busy even though I called up and requested her a week in advance. I'm not even sure the staff i got was a qualified hair dresser!! didn't even know how to BRUSH my hair! i walked out very unhappy.
will never be going back there! i don't recommend Momo's to anyone, however they do have some good hair dressers.. it's just a lucky dip there.
I have had good cuts and average ones there, it is convenient to walk in without an appointment but sometimes it gets very busy so you have to wait. Some of the hairdressers are regulars their and if you make an appointment with the one who suits you best it is like everywhere else but at a better price.
