Enjoyed a lovely lunch after a bush walk in Tamborine - we chose the antipasto platter and a bottle of red, which you can take home if you don't finish.
Great food and good cellar door for tastings and wine for the trip home...
The food was great and lots of seating options, both indoor and outdoor.

A great variety of wines and they even gave us free tastings with no obligation to buy unlike some others in the area who charged us when we declined to buy. We also had breakfast here which was great and the staff were very friendly.

The venue include a winery where they offer free tastings during openings hours and a cafe/restaurant. My partner visited twice, once in the afternoon to taste the wines and second for breakfast the next day. Both were pleasant experiences. Firstly the bartender at the winery was very friendly and handled a busy period well attending to everyone's needs. She let us sample 4 wines of our choice but wasn't pushy in the sales when they weren't to our taste. Breakfast the next morning at the restaurant was also great! All the staff were so friendly particularly in helping us choose were to seat (it's a large venue). Both our meals - the breakfast roll and the pancakes were massive portion and absolutely delicious! I couldn't fault either. Only downside was it was a little more expensive than usual not taking into consideration they charge a public holiday surchage (we were here during Eaater).

The wines at the vineyard are often quite good, but the cafe is not. The food is very expensive and of mediocre quality, when we had lunch the meat pie one of my kids ordered had a weird italian style filling that would go with pasta but was inedible in a pie. My chicken and avocado roll was toasted to the point of being dry and crumbly. The fish burgers were OK if you like deep fried frozen fish. All this for $100. But what really annoyed me was that one of the kids bought a toasted ham sandwich and two soft drinks that they charged her $20 for, no receipt. Eventually they brought out the smallest, thinnest toasted sandwich I have ever seen in my life. My son took one bite and pulled a face. I tried it, the ham was SOUR and quite inedible. My wife took it back, and they arrogantly told her it was impossible that the ham could be off, as it was all fresh cryo vac. No offer of a refund. Stay away.

I decided to take my guests visiting the Gold Coast to the restaurant. I was offended and disappointed. The meals were over priced and had minimal flavour. My guest had one look at her meal and was not satisfied and asked the wait staff about to which a nonchalant approach was taken. My guests started to eat the meal and couldn't bare it. When approaching the staff for something else to eat instead she was told, "we can give you a bowl of chips, that should fill you up'. With that comment alone, all respect I may of had was gone. I will encourage others to go elsewhere just before you get towards the round-a-bout. Stay away.
