Mr Washing Machine

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
I rang Mr Washing machine, provided them the model and fault code and said my washer/dryer needed a new heating element. The serviceman turned up (a day late), looked at it, ran the washing machine, advised me I needed a new heating element....I said I know, i told you guys two days ago. He said he did not have the part and would have to ring the office. He then said he couldn't leave my home until he observed me transfer the $148 payment to their bank acct. This scared me, they could be scanning bank numbers through an app....but I had no choice. Since then I rang them about the part quote....no one bothered to call back, no further service. This business is a scam, they are probably not even repair qualified people and are just ripping off people by taking service fees. I am going to report them to consumer affairs and I encourage others to do the same. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

Turned up, charging a $148 call out fee, to confirm what i had already told them then said they would have to order a new pump and that it would cost a further $250 including labour... the pump is listed as $65 on line but the tradesperson said they only used "italian parts" which were a better quality. He said he would phone back that afternoon to book in a time to return to fix the pump but never did. No-one answered the phone number when i tried calling several times that afternoon, and despite sending several texts this morning asking for updates i have simply been told to wait to hear from the tech person. Absolutely disgusting behaviour and extremely poor service. I really wish i had found this site and read the reviews first, i would never have used them. Like several other reviewers below i am now out of pocket $148 and need to start the process again with another company to try and get my machine fixed before the long weekend.

We called for a problem with our washing machine and organised a time. No one turned up on the day so we called and rebooked it. No one turned up. In the end we called someone else. I don't know how you can run a business like this.

After paying $145 call out fee and another $45 after hour fee to repair my washing machine I have heard nothing from these people. Rocked up to my house later than advised, told me my machine needed a new motherboard and they were going to order another one and that they'd give me a call the next day to confirm order and ETA. Took my money no problem - I have been conned out of $200. Won't return my calls and I have made many, I even sent several text messages to various mobile nos. that I was given. Left a complaint on their website - NOTHING. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I still have a washing machine that doesn't work - and out of pocket $200. I know have to repeat the procedure all over again with another company. I too am also in the process of lodging a complaint with the right authorties. BAD BAD BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE.

It's great that this company can get a worker out quite quickly, however unacceptable to send someone who is inadequate to fulfil the job alone & requests further staff to aid. Thus requesting payment for an unfinished job. Very bad customer experience
