I have attended Murphys quite a number of times over the years and have thoroughly enjoyed every drink, meal and dessert served. However, with several friends, I attended the Weds Evening 6th Feb 'Crepe Night' and left sadly disappointed. Each of the four main 'Crepe' meals served were child sized, luke warm, accompanied by a lacking green salad and a small handful of takeaway shop style chips. The main meal would have been better placed on the Children's Menu in a Cafe or Truck Stop. The size and quality of the Crepes was such that none of us were prepared to select a Crepe Dessert. In finishing on a positive note we each chose the 'dessert platter' which had nothing to do with Crepes, and was excellent.
This is more a place you would expect in Sydney, so nice fitted out and the food is outstanding. We went for a business lunch and we had a 3 course lunch. Burger was great and portions are more than generous. Price is reflecting the quality of the food produced so its more on the high side but well worth it.
Food is ok but way to expensive! Especially considering its plomp straight in the middle of the highway in unanaderra!!!! Atmosphere is not really that nice either. you pay less at another bar & grill in Wollongong with food 10 times better and a great atmosphere !
