After having my brakes fail while driving home I had my car towed to Kmart Auto at Woodridge and was told the problem would be fixed by the following day if not that afternoon. I had not heard from them all day so I rang in the afternoon and they said they were still trying to work out what was wrong and they said they would call us as soon as they found out what was wrong. The day after that we did not hear from them and we rang in the afternoon and they said they needed parts and it wouldn't be ready until next year! Every time we rang it was a different story and they never bothered to ring or text us. Then first thing the very next morning we get a text saying the work on our car was completed and it was ready to be picked up, only we went in to hear that they had done absolutely nothing to it and we tried asking what they had done or what they thought the problem was only to have "it's an educated guess, it's an educated guess" told to us over and over. ...read more
Absolutely a RIP-OFF! Yeah they replaced my radiator. But the price was ridiculous! They even charged me for a 'radiator flush'- for a brand new radiator! And $25 for a radiator cap! When I asked if they could possibly do it a bit cheaper, RUDELY lied to, saying he had already given me a $56 discount, Cost me $560, for a 2002 car! NEVER EVER AGAIN! Harsh lesson learnt here. NO STARS Kmart Auto, no stars at all!
Took my car in for a minor service.After it was done they gave me the list of things my car needed and it was an exact a mirror image list of the last service i had with them even though one of the things on there i had fixed from my last service.They also told me my battery failed the test and i needed a brand new one.I had just bought one 2 weeks ago and took it back to where i bought it to get it tested.Nothing was wrong with it.The guy at the battery shop said that Kmart always tell people things like that so people will pay them to fix it.So i took it back to Kmart to get them to test it again and magically they found there was nothing wrong with it.They didn't fill out my log book for my warranty so i had to go back to get them to do it.Absolutely shocking,will never return.
Had Tyers put on. Very rude management staff. Called several times. "Yes WE know you have called several times". asking why tyres took 3 hours to put on, that 20 inch Tyers take a long time. Also said yours is not the only car here. Excuse after excuse ...how about sorry we are running behind.
