Was asked to ring on day of bringing my car in after quote had been given a week early. Didn’t answer the phone so when I got my car there at 0900hrs he said “refresh my memory”. I asked if it could be same day service since it was only a side mirror needing replaced. He said “maybe”. I rang at 1600hrs and David said the part hadn’t even come in. david said he would ring back after talking to grant. So anyway they gave me some excuse about the paint drying but I know it doesn’t take that long. I’m not stupid. So now I have to work tomorrow and I don’t think that they have even ordered the part of sprayed it. They are unprofessional. Completely incompetent. Only interested in insurance claims. I’ll never go there again or send anyone there either!
Its unfortunate you feel that way. The conversation was we will do our best to get the car back to you the same day, not you will have it back today. You bought the car in with the view you may not get it back the same day. We answer our phones during operateing hours, if you choose to ring before or after those hours, yes, there is nobody here to answer your call. Yes, the paint does need to dry. It needs to go into an oven to bake, and the reason we were able to replace the mirror at such a good price for you, is that we put small items in the oven with larger jobs in order to keep the price down for the customer. This is why it may not happen when you would like them too. Again it was made clear you may not get the car back the same day. Funny how your views were not voiced when you picked up the car?
