Yes, I read all the bad reviews but I recently signed up for c-panel web hosting. I had hosting with them back in 2007-08 with no issues, so I thought I'd go with them again. They must have gone down hill very dramatically since 2007-08. Nothing but problems. Lousy customer service. Very slow load times for my website. In fact my free WordPress site with my bought domain is so much better. Why did I waste my money??? Well, don't say you weren't warned.

I have 11 domain names with NetRegistry and recently tried to transfer them away to another host. But despite over 4 days and a number of communications via LiveChat and Cases, I am still not able to complete the transfers. They say that 'because of the history of my domain names' it is proving difficult. I haven't made any changes to my domain names for years. The only changes have been with them taking over Jumba and Uber. So through either their incompetence or unwillingness, I am having to constantly contact them to try and resolve this matter, but so far have been unable to.

So if this is an example of how they handle matters I would steer clear of them altogether.

Netregistry only offers 1 type of SSL which is very disappointing for a company that sells themselves on being relatively big. They only offer the entry level Quick SSL and they offer this for $50.00 more than any other competitor. When I asked if I could have a 3rd party SSL on my webpage which is located on their cloud server, they declined and said it would be to vulnerable although the 3rd party SSL was being purchased from eway.

For this reason and many others, I had no choice but to cancel my hosting with this company and move else where. I still had 6 months of hosting left when I cancelled and no reimbursement was offered although they were at fault for not helping me with my SSL issue.

I have had the worst possible experience with net registry. They promise everything and deliver nothing. They are the new breed of Internet businesses who take your money in a flash but don't produce the work.

I changed my overpriced plan 3 weeks ago, but since then, after emails and online support, I have been unable to get my website running and my email working. I have given up and are going to another ISP
