Further to our first review about the first time we took the car in for issues as per our used car warranty, the same vehicle has been back to Northside Nissan on 3 separate occassions, this time for more than 5 weeks. Since when is it ok for a service department to keep someones car for 5 weeks? And it was only after writing a letter to the Principal and then contacting him via phone, as it appears he can not reply to emails, that he actually got someone to phone me with updates. I would not recommend you buy a car from this dealership or go back for your servicing. Because you will definitely be disappointed in more ways than one. Clearly our car was not important enough for them to deal with and they are not that keen on reimbursing us our costs.
My son purchased a used car from Northside Nissan recently that had some issues - speakers not working after the car dealership were to rewire it, sensors not working correctly and a knocking in the front. We booked the car in with James who we purchased the car through on a Friday. On Saturday we were told that we couldn't pick up the car until Monday, then on Monday we were told it had to go to Holden Tuesday morning and they were unsure when it would be ready as there was more to the wiring issue than what they thought. After several emails backwards and forwards to James, advising of my disappointment with their after service, my son received a phone call to say he could pick the car up.
The knocking noise is still in the car, the speakers are now whirring and the sensors were not even looked at - apparently because this wasn't in my initialread more
I have been waiting for my extended warranty refund for over 2 months... being fed excuses every time I contact the aftercare department. Typical of car dealerships... quick to take your money but tardy when it comes to giving anything back. Would avoid this place completely!
