Destroyed our furniture - glued back together to compensate. Removalist was talking within ear shot “slow down we need to stretch out” caught them several times watching “fast fours and rotary’s” on YouTube - we have moved 11 times in almost the same in years. This was the worst move thus far. Boys even refused to move our beds upstairs saying it was unsafe to do so, my poor 48kg wife completed this task - so sad these guys are reviewing themselves also.
Never again!!! Final cost was $200 more than competitors prices. These guys somehow turned a maybe 3hr job into a 4 & a half hour job. Even then they didn't put things in the right rooms..
For example; there were bed frames left in lounge room & boxes marked kitchen put in bedroom. Cupboards were placed with doors facing the walls and left there. Boxes were not placed neatly just left laying around. Guy on phone was rude when called to ask if everything had been taken from a house as a few things were missing. Bond cleaner from another company was nice enough to drop those off at new address.. not sure how blokes can stuff up a job where you don't think, just lift, carry & place but these guys have some how managed it..
We used Northside Removals fourteen years ago in moving from Qld to NSW. We were very happy with the experience. Our daughter and family also enjoyed the same experience around the same period. The truck got bogged in her drive but the men remained courteous and unphased. As returning customers to a family business, we sought and gained their expert and specialized repeat services.
Northside Removals did our pickup to store then on to Griffith NSW mid August this year. Both pickup (by Vinnie and Fredy) and delivery (by Rod and Jesse) were very professional, courteous and careful with our belongings, including our very valuable piano. They couldn’t have been more careful. We cannot thank them enough for their care and friendly professional service.

When booking we asked to have prepacking done by them and to add that to our quote as hubby and I are not in the best shape to do too much ourselves, aside from personal items. It was organised that the prepacking would be done by 2 guys the day before our actual moving day. Was told they would be at our house around lunchtime on the Monday. So we waited...and waited.....and waited, all afternoon. Eventually I phoned the phone number provided to be told that the guys doing the prepacking had been held up at a previous job. You were Given $300.00 to get a new TV that was the price you said it was worth. and the trucks get emptied every time If you only look in boxes without completly unpacking them you can;t say stuff is missing unpack and you will find your goods , I get this ph call about 3 times a week most people do the right thing and call when they have unpacked and found there goods
Fuzzy,If you had read my post you would see that I did mention we were given the money to buy a replacement TV. You will also note that I stated it took 3 weeks for us to completely unpack every box and once open the boxes were flattened. It was NOT a case of us merely opening up boxes, having a quick look and then saying the items weren't there.
We have opened and emptied every single box that was brought into the new house, the kitchen items are still missing.
There are no other boxes left to open. And none left behind at the old house as we went there later that day to make sure all was empty and secure, ready for the bond cleaners.
The right thing would have been for the company to respond to my messages and not ignore them.
And the reason I have not phoned you to say we found the goods is because we have not found them.
A huge shoutout to Josh, Guv and Mitch for their brilliant work on Wednesday and Thursday 22/23 of June. These guys are the business! My husband, kids and I have moved all over Australia and overseas and have used many removal companies, both big and small. Josh, Guv and Mitchell are the friendliest, funniest, most professional removalists we have ever had the pleasure of hiring. Ours was a big move over 2 days and I honestly love these blokes. They were hard working, honest, gentle with our prized possessions, awesome with our 3 tiny kids and nothing was too hard down to connecting the washing machine and placating my stressed out husband.
