As part of your initial consultation we perform a comprehensive health assessment. This enables us to understand how every system and organ in your body is functioning. We look at factors like poor thyroid function and hormonal imbalances as well as stress and diet that may be contributing to your weight or preventing you from losing weight. During the program your Nu-Leaf naturopath will treat these issues if needed. We do not just focus on weight loss we also get you feeling great!
Body composition analysis - Our state of the art measuring equipment allows us to determine the current, overall physical state of the body. The VLA body composition equipment tells us how much of your body is fat, how much is muscle and how is fluid. It also tells us if you have fluid retention. This information helps us to determine what type of exercise is best for you, so whether you need to do more cardio exercise or resistance to build muscle and increase your metabolism. It also helps us to determine what eating regime suits you best, so whether you need more protein to build muscle or less carbohydrate for fat loss.
Hemaview - We use a live blood screening tool called Hemaview which is based on the medical science of Hematology. It provides an accurate and immediate indication of the state of your general health.
