Opera Bar

Opera Bar - Sydney Opera House is one of the most popular bars around. It offers absolutely stunning views of the Sydney Harbour and Circular Quay. It is always a lively place with live bands and singers. Outdoor area is always popular, their indoor lounge areas are even more so for dining.

Locals know that this is the place to get a gasp out of visitors. A mixed crowd, in daytime there’s no Sydneyish door policies and everyone is thrown together for fun in the sun and a very Sydney view. Sundays have jazz – and nibbles served on afternoon tea stands.

Great spot to chill and enjoy a Friday night. Can get a bit crowded. For the location and atmosphere, it isn't too expensive either.

I had a nice lunch hear yesterday, of course, you pay for the location, but that's life... the food was quite good and we washed it down with a few glasses of a Chardonnay from Orange. It's about five to ten minutes walk to Circular Quay railway or ferry stops, info recommend public transport. Hubby had bouillabaisse and I had lamb rump, both were served hot and were tasty. Good place to take guests from out of town to show off our beautiful city in all its glory.
