Booking was a problem. After several no callbacks one of our group drove out to make the booking. He was told they no longer take Facebook bookings (so remove the option). In person, our booking was made. However when we arrived we were informed there was no record of it - what? But the place wasn't full and a table was found. When ordering, a variation was asked for - no, was the reply. The food was fairly ordinary. The barramundi was over-cooked and the prawns were disappointing. The final downer was when a discount, valid until June, was refused. The waitstaff were polite enough but made no effort to be friendly. I guess the location is popular and there will always be other customers - not us though. Disappointing from start to finish.
I have been a customer for over 18 years. I'm fed up with calling in for a coffee only to find that the machines are turned off! You are a CAFE for gods sake??? You know who I am Kevin, "two small decaf skim caps???" Pick up your game or sell your cafe to someone that want's to run a successful business. This customer is moving on. No coffee at 2pm on a weekend is a joke.I have seen this local business slowly decline over the past three years and don't hold out any hope for it in the future. DO NOT DRIVE ALL THE WAY TO PEARL BEACH FOR A COFFEE ON THE WEEKEND. YOU ARE WASTING YOUR TIME. Patonga is a better option.
