I just had my garage door replaced with motor and let me just say it is not as quiet as they claim it would be the noise level is not much far off my old one which was about 10yrs+.
What was worse was when the salesman qouted me without a infill after the installer notified me so i was left me with a gap. Had to call the salesman straight away to tell him that he messed up and told me that it would be fixed the following week. Wednesday came and the gap was still there, tried calling him a few times did not pick up, messaged him threatening to contact his manager well funny enough there was a reply. it was finally fixed on the friday. Watch where your money goes i did not recieve an invoice for my deposit and the final payment invoice did not recieve as well.
I'm the manager of the Perth Garage Door Company . Im sorry to hear that you think your new garage door motor is not very quiet. We have installed for you the latest belt drive motor which is used by many garage door companies today . We have had countless feedback from customers saying how happy they are with the motor. In regards to the infill - that was always included in the job. With infills, they have to be measured on the day of installation and then fabricated . We then return to site at a later date to fit them. Lastly, we did post you out a invoice . If you require another one to be sent out please let us know.
Yes please send me the invoice as i have not recieved it, i called the guy who schedule the installation and he said that the qoute was the invoice? So was that the invoice?
Paid in full and they said they'd be back the next week to finish the last small part of the job (late nov) A week went by and I had to call them and was told they'd be out that week. Then that never happened so I called again was told the next week. Guess what, never happened so I called and was then told they needed a part from the supplier and their business reopens mid jan. We finished the job ourself as we needed a side panel for security reasons and were sick of no communication. Terrible communication with this company. Would recommend to no one.
