We took our cats to this great retreat in Nov. Have also taken mia and snowy there for a number of years. Firstly, the set up for the cats is amazing. They have a great place to sleep. Then they play outside in a secured area. They are always happy when we come home to collect them. The owners are responsible. Ensure their vaccinations are up to date, something you want when u drop off your family to be cared for. They are two beautiful people, who work hard, take such good care of the cats and deserve a holiday once a year. Well done to you both, we love our holidays and would recommend any one to go there. We were long time customers but her attitude has changed over the years and she can be quite snarly for no apparent reason. When we started to feel like we were an inconvenience and all she was interested in was our money we knew it was time to leave. It's stressful enough leaving your furbabies at a cattery and is even worse when you don't know what mood she will be in....
have used before but never again! cats dropped off at 8am and picked up at 8am 2 days later. charged for 3. when asked why, I was turned on and told you can pay for two but we wont take your booking again. could not believe how quickly this got out of hand. would not even engage in a calm conversation. very upsetting and dissapinting. will never recommend this cattery.
Understand exactly what you mean - many have been on the receiving end of one of her dummyspits. I personally think it is time for her to call it quits. The cattery is run now only to fund their overseas trips - the care for the cats and their owners is long gone
i called and enquired about my cat boarding with them and they spoke to me quite rudely. they said my cat couldnt board with them because 1 week before he was staying at the rspca and they apparently have cat flu going around. i did not appreciate being spoken to they way they spoke to me
