And the food – LOVED it!
The portion sizes are large – we had to get our left overs packed.

I love Thai food, but unfortunately Piyawat Thai just wasn't up to scratch in my opinion. All the Thai decor is over the top but it works and looks nice, except for the sheets of paper as tablecloths. The service is certainly nice and friendly enough too, but it wasn't attentive. In the two hours that our table of 4 was there, there was only the initial drinks order that was taken, and even then one of the drinks was forgotten until we reminded them. We weren't asked again about drinks, nor was our empty bottle of water refilled or replaced.

Perfect thai food! Absoultely delicious! We love the green curry and have never had a better one anywhere in Melbourne or Brisbane. The vegetarian dishes are excellent too and the entrees are excellent, particularly the thai fish cakes. We've eaten in a few times and the atmosphere is very nice, with lovely decor. We've eaten outside in summer with our young son and he was made welcome and the staff are just lovely.
