I called Plumb to fix my evaporative aircon. I have just moved into a new home and at the pre purchase inspection i was told that my aircon needs to be fixed, that there is damage to the ducts. Also since moving in i could not get the aircon to work. Also my control panel is broken and has some buttons missing. I sent the photos of the ducts that the building inspector had taken, to plumb via email. I then followed this up with a phone call, on the phone call someone looked at my photos and said it looks like its installed incorrectly and they will send someone over to do a service and have a look. Anyway the guys came over and showed me how to use the control panel, they said its not broken and the evaporative aircon just doesn't get very cold. They set it on the lowest setting for me. We’re sorry for any confusion and for the conflicting information during our service.

We understand that the photos you sent were of the heater ducts, not the cooling ducts. We sent you quotes for new split systems, replacement of controller and filter pads on the same day we attended, but they may have gone to spam.

Our team leader, Jim, provided the correct information that replacing the pads could potentially make the aircon cooler and he found one of the ducts was off at the dropper, which he put back on. We’re sorry for any frustration caused by the conflicting information provided by the apprentice and have taken action to ensure our team is better trained.

It took me a while, to save up for an Evaporative Cooling system, I got in touch with Plum heating and cooling. I ask for a quote. We agreed on a price and within a few days, the unit was installed by two excellent tradesmen. I am very pleased with the job everything was left tidy and clean.
Let summer come, I am ready to stay cool

I made an appointment to get a quote on fixing and servicing my evaporative cooler and cleaning the ducts. On the day I waited about 15mins then gave them a call to double check someone was still coming.

The lady asked my address and I was told that they don't service my area and asked if I had called the right place and what date did I originally call to make the appointment. I said yes and that I can find it in my phone. While looking in my phone, she said that she found it with notes on the system but it hadn't been put into the technicians calender. Had my evap serviced today. Dealing with Plum was professional, and they advised me of exactly when they were coming, arrived when they said they would, completed the job efficiently and effectively. After also putting in my new heating systems last year, they will get my work again and again. Great service, and honest people to deal with.
