Staff are very helpful and keen to listen and understand your pool and spa issues. They don't push you to buy stuff unless needed, and explain in detail why it's needed if this is the case. Have been using them for several years and cannot fault their service. Price of their products is good given the quality. You can find cheaper products elsewhere, but definately not as good quality (thus a false economy - I found out the hard way a while ago!). Very handy that they are open for a few hours on Sunday also. Would thoroughly recommend them to any pool or spa owner.
Just be careful of them if you're getting them to fix something. The price for parts they quoted were closer to half the cost on the actual invoice. I can't fault the work, but it was a 5 minute job that cost me $350 for something that was supposed to cost about $220.
Our pool light was not working and we had been told by our poolman that we needed a top notch pool electrician to pull the cables through. We knew it wasn't the globe but the transformer and/or the cables themselves. I went into the Pool Doctor and specifically asked for a 'top notch electrician' and explained the problem. I was sent a staff who didn't have a torch or a multi-meter. Although we told this apprentice it was not the globe, they insisted it was and told us '80% of these calls are just globes'. The staff proceeded to change the globe assembly, the globe and a deck lid. Guess what? The light still didn't work! We ended up calling someone else who found the transformer had blown which was replaced. The Pool Doctor billed us for $257.85 for work that was unnecessary and for not listening when we told them what we needed. Although I went in and spoke with the management staff who insists the bill be paid. And so it has been today. But we hope you canread more
