We sought assistance with our new Lagotto puppy and after week 1 we knew we had made the right choice. Not only is Lauren a passionate teacher she also makes it easy to understand the principles of the class and apply them at home.
After the class in week 1 we took our puppy to the beach where we noticed he had some fishing line hanging from his mouth - panic set in however we had been taught not to chase him and to use the swap technique. It turned out he had a big hook covered in bait in his mouth - if we had not have been able to get him to swap it for a treat - well we hate to think what would have happened
We can't wait to start the second part of the course.
We sought assistance from the Positive Response team in understanding our dog's behaviour and getting expert advice in how to address behaviour issues. The team of Dee and Shelley were immensely helpful providing insights and providing strategies to desensitise our dog for anxiety issues. We really appreciated their thorough approach in sending through reports after each training session- so much is covered each session it can be challenging to keep up.
