OVERSEAS ORDERS (written 28th August 2015)
Today, I had a gentleman come into the shop to see if two posters I was buying for him had arrived. These were ordered approximately 6 weeks ago from overseas with my stock order for Marvel Comic posters. I pre-pay for all orders so have lost quite a lot of money if they are stolen in transit. I understand my customer being angry but I have tried to establish when they may be in Ballarat but the supplier simply sends me a consignment number and estimated date of arrival. I offered to supply the customer alternative posters that are available in Australia but he says he wants the ones he has chosen. (This is because they are different and more interesting than the local ones)
I would be so happy if I could supply his posters right now but can not get them anywhere other than from the overseas supplier. The Australian suppliers are limited in what they import so I go to overseas suppliers for posters that are different. Today I have decided I am just creating problems for myself and wasting money so in future will not take orders for overseas posters, I will buy some for stock but not put myself in a position where I can be abused as I was today.
I am very sorry to have to do this but in the long term will save myself a lot of trouble.
The internet is wonderful and there are many interesting prints and posters available to purchase on line, the problem quite often is the cost of freight. I never passed the freight cost for prints and posters on to customers.

I do not even know where to start! Was told 2-3 weeks for my artwork to be framed, however 6 weeks on the chasing up begun... with copious phone calls & messages (none returned), answering phone calls and telling me they'd have to call me back once out, telling me they'll call me back and NEVER doing so & after 9 weeks I finally explained that I was really disappointed in the lack of customer service & was getting cross now, so needed my artwork back, completed or not COMPLETELY UNPROFESSIONAL!! When I FINALLY got my piece back it was a shoddy job with bugs stuck under frame & on my art, to the point where my husbandread more
This is not right. The comment applies to someone who worked for us and no longer does.
We work very hard to please our customers and are disturbed to see such a message.
Why not try us and see for yourself.
Disgusting business. The management of the Poster Shop needs to learn the meaning of Customer Service.
After being stuffed around for over a month, I decided to ask for a refund and take my business elsewhere. I was then told I was a selfish brat and a nasty person. In fact I was so nasty that when I did go into the store to ask for my refund, I patiently waited for them to finish with the customers they were with-as to not embarrass them with my complaint.
They then went on to complain about me to other customers entering the store.
This business is overpriced, terrible quality and revolting customer service. No idea how they still even have a business.

Asked Masterpiece frames to frame 2 paintings. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks. 10 weeks later, they hadn't even started. What a waste of time. Dozens of phone calls, broken promises. Very unprofessional and very poor service. Collected the paintings - now looking elsewhere.
