Absolutely appalling. Made an appointment online and waited for over an hour to see a doctor. Finally saw a doctor who was rude, blunt, opinionated and absolutely no help. If you can’t keep the appointments to the allocated times then don’t take on so many patients. The doctor made me feel rushed and there was no patient rapport. I will never go back to this facility and highly recommend you reconsider how this practice is run.
A walk in clinic with wait times averaging 2 hours or more. Reception staff verging on rude. Doctors too busy to have much rapport with patients. It is bulk billed, and there are pathology services and xray and a chemist onsite which gives this clinic the potential to be great..It would be much better if it allowed patients to make an appointment. Not recommended .
Excellent Centre, some of you need to reassess your expectations - always call first to get an idea of the wait time before coming and also remember other Centres in the area do not bulk bill, hense this one is so busy. Don't criticise this Centre for providing the service you want, maybe criticise other Centres that charge $100!!
It's Sunday night and i was sent away from this medical centre as the doctors decided to finish at 8pm instead of 10 pm as advertised. This has happened a couple of times to me in the past. I would like to know who makes this decision. Is it the doctors or is it the higher up corporate bosses. I feel that i was let down after driving to this medical centre as i was worried about my asthma. Looks like a long wait at the hospital now and wasting my time and the hospitals time just because a medical centre decided they are not working for what ever reason. Not happy.
Firstly, yes you can't make appointments to see a doctor - it's a walk in clinic. Expect to wait. But my experience at previous appointment clinics is that you wait in excess of 30 mins anyway so I'm not bothered by the wait. I take a book or my ipad and I'm prepared.
Now the reception staff are generally emotionless, unfriendly and at times can be just shy of rude but I've not really had anyone be particularly horrible to me. I will usually only see one particular doctor as I find she is thorough and extremely helpful but I've found only a couple others of the same standard.
My advice is just be prepared (byo entertainment and snacks) for an hour wait during busy times. Don't expect too many smiles from the staff and be thankful they have comfy chairs for you!
