I popped in for a quick reset of my acrylics. The lady began clipping my nails as usual and grabbbed an acrylic nail to slide between my real nail and the acrylic. She was going so fast that she sliced straight through my real nail and I began to bleed everywhere. Instead of offering me to wash my hands she instead let me bleed and finished the rest until she did the exact same thing but this time shoved the acrylic under my real nail and began to pull. I flinched and she noticed I started bleeding again. I asked her if I should wash my hands because she was using utensils from the other ladies and they were borrowing off each other after my blood was splattered all over it. She said “if you want to” I knew in my mind this was not sanitary at all. I get my nails done a lot but this service was terrible! I can’t believe she allowed the other ladies to use the utensils with my blood all over it. She kept whispering she was sorry so as not to gain attention from any of the otherread more
The person who booked my appointment was polite and helpful, sadly, the person who tended to my nails was not so nice. Having never had a manicure before, i wasn't quite sure what to expect, and i told them this in the hope that they might give me some idea of what they were doing. Nope, silence. Silence wouldn't have been a problem, if they weren't so incredibly rough. It was painful when they were filing away, but i thought perhaps it's normal for it to hurt. I've since been informed that it's not. About half an hour later one of cuticles began bleeding, shortly after the entire finger was aching and red.
To top if off, the nails look awful. The tips are crooked and uneven- they look better when i glue stick-ons on at home, which i will be doing from now on.
