Called RAC for a quote to get a log book vehicle service. They quoted me $850 for a 90,000km log book service. I was in absolute shock. How could they even justify changing the oil, wipers and spark plugs for that absurd price. Never will use their service centres. I like the roadside assistance and insurance but thats about it.
Worst service centres ever.
They forget to do jobs, don't offer or give you a lift anywhere, their services miss out heaps of simple tasks like filling up the oil, water in wipers.
They miss jobs off their lists. They charge WAY too much for service, the staff are clueless, and unhelpful.
They are happt to leave you stranded without your car and half the jobs not being completed and offer no suggestion of help as to how you are going to get to work or home.
DO NOT USE RAC for services. They are unhelpful and will not do the jobs that you pay for.
Despite being a long term client of the RAC I can no longer support this business location due to poor administration and servicing attention to detail at this premises. None of my previous feedback to the RAC has been heeded or responded so I have to go outside of that organisation to be heard.
The last service resulted in my wifes car being driven directly to Natrad for a full radiator replacement and overheated on the way despite us having driving to Embleton quite comfortably in the first place.
