Red Hill Brewery

Not my favourite beers in the region, but nice woodsy atmosphere, with hop vines growing over the doorway and in the backyard. Leans toward more European styles, and the pale ales were a little too hoppy for my tastes.

Ok so having enjoyed this place so much last week I now have to return with the males of the family (son and sons in law) for a boys day out. The food was great and the beers were well worth it. One son in law is fussy with his beer so he will - at a guess - fall in love with some of teh varieties which I found quite enjoyable.

Fantastic beer to suite all tastes. Get a sample pack before you buy. Some are very strong ale's but I love the golden ale. Nice pub feel too.

Beautiful pan fried duck, sweet potato and red currant jus, to die for. I nearly ordered another serve! Also had the cherry panacotta and tried the strawberry cheesecake, yum! My husband loves the beers, a great wine list, really lovely staff (very accommodating of our baby and pram) and had a quick chat with the owner and a brewer today - just a splendid place to visit for a bevvie and lunch.

This brewery has the best beer!!!!! It is always busy so remember to book if you want to experience some of the great food that they have on their menu. It is also great just to go for a drive and taste the different types of beer. The scenery is beautiful.
