River Road Caravan Park

This is definitely one to avoid. We stayed 2 nights in late May 2013.



The cracked and mismatched tiles, the cheap looking benches in the showers swollen with moisture, the ghastly colours in the showers, and the small, pre digital TV without even a set top box in the kitchen show clearly that the facilities are very dated and run down. The camp kitchen is also poorly equipped.



The toilets remained uncleaned for over 24 hours and with only 2 toilets and 2 showers each for men and women this resulted in very dirty toilets indeed.



The first shower I used was unable to drain properly causing the shower recess to gradually fill up with water. On the second morning I was greeted with a flooded shower room.



All this maybe tolerated if the rates were low but you still pay $25 per night for an unpowered site. There are plenty of better choices in Mildura.

This is by far the cleanest, roomiest, friendliest park we have stayed in around Australia! It is reasonably priced and is across The Murray River from Mildura.It has VERY clean facilities and the washing mashines have the hot water tap connected! There are many roomy sites to choose from!
