Since the fast ferries are basically the only way for you to get to Rottnest Island, unless of course you have your own boat, then this is probably going to be one of those rather painful experiences. Okay, I'm probably being a little harsh, but since the ferry leftat 8:30 in the morning, and since I really like to have a decent cup of tea, the last thing that I wanted to hear when I went to order it was that they didn't have any. Oh, and that cheeky grin that I got felt like they were doing it on purposes. ferry fees to rottnest island and excessive which is really disappointing since Rottnest is such a lovely destination. the website is very confusing. its only a 30 min trip so charging $226.50 return for a family with 3 young children is way over priced and unreasonable.
