Avoid these people at all costs. They will take your money in the call out, not provide quotes when they say they will, operate through a dodgy off-shore call centre, and when you can get the service manager, she will scream at you with small children nearby and accuse you of lying because she claims she didn't get voicemail messages- then cancelled the job without my OK. They charge at least $100 extra than others for parts and gouge on additional labour costs. Do not do business with this establishment, or if you have and they have let you down, contact NSW Fair Trading.
it has taken me quite a while to find a site i can write about this company. I WISH i had found this site before I had Appliance Care services attempt to fix my Ilve oven. The first visit they managed to conclude it was broken - yes - that's why they were there - but that took them around one hour and cost me a few hundred dollars. They had to come back to fit the new cooktop ignitor - another few hundred dollars later. Afterwards the cooktop only occasionally would ignite and then, spontaneously would start to click as if to ignite - sometimes in the middle of the night. We would have to turn the unit off at the fusebox. We complained of course, and also about the appalling service and i was simply told - "tell me, exactly how was the serviceman rude, tell me what he said"...as if questioning my definition of rudeness. No apology, and then told I was out of my warranty period. Eventually i got my local appliance company to come by - they were here for 5read more
Mmm. Interesting reply...Your continued lack of customer service and arrogant, unhelpful atitude, I think sums up our experience along with the majority of others posted here. Furthermore to cast doubt over another company as far as the quality of their parts used is bad form. Are you suggesting that should the consumer receive excellent and timely service that it is likely they have received an inferior or not genuine product? Shame on you.
Finally, at NO time were we ever given guarantee of another date to have our machine fixed as we were informed the technician was in fact now in hospital and the original technician (the service call) was on leave/holiday.
I wish I had read these reviews earlier. Avoid this company. I have had an almost identical experience with them as many others on this page.

The day this was posted by me, we were contacted by Appliance Care Services and advised that they WERE going to refund us our money but we're not happy with our review so we're not inclined to give us our money back. This was the last communication we have had from them despite our continued request to have our money rightfully refunded. We received ZERO service from this company at substantial cost.
This company do not deliver on the or promises and advertise falsely as per the numerous other posts here.
To lodge a claim woth Consumer Affairs also requires more cost and time to attend a hearing.
Hopefully we have been able to stop other unsuspecting consumers the cost and aggravation this company has put us through.
There are a number of inconsistencies in this report which presentation of the facts should clear up. Appliance Care (AC) attended on 2/4/15. A part for the machine had to be ordered. AC uses genuine parts. Accordingly an order was placed with the manufacturer of your machine. The manufacturers parts department received the order the same day. This was the afternoon before the Easter weekend and they had closed early.
The manufacturer recommenced processing orders on the 7th April. Regrettably they made a processing error and did not send the part. We followed up the non-delivery and they reprocessed theread more
First like to say they have a flash web page BUT the do not have a fleet of Mercedes Vans! They turn up in family cars. The service person I had had no idea about changing the part. They "charge like wounded bulls" (excessive)! When I spoke up the management was abusive. Then management back down and and admitted their mistake. Beware... . When you do phone you are actually talking to an answering service, not Appliance Care Services. Not direct to the great looking Company that you see on their web page.
There is no address shown ... Would stay right away from them in the future and would not recommend!
