Our daughter has been attending this school since prep and we couldn’t be happier.
It is such a lovely caring environment and the teachers all genuinely care about the girls. It has a lovely community feel, and we feel very much part of the Sac family! W
I really couldn’t be happier with the school!
After being to many various schools, from co-ed to posh private schools, I can gladly say that Sacre Coeur is one of the best schools I have attended. The environment is inclusive, welcoming and friendly, and the older year levels never hesitate to help out the younger ones. The staff are so open and willing to talk about any issues students ask, and I have had the pleasure of being taught by some of the best teachers in the state. Truly, Sacre Coeur hosts some of the nicest girls I have ever met, and each day I spend there is one that inspires and exposes me to amazing people and a wonderful community
I don't know which school some of these 'reviewers' visited, but it bears no resemblance to the school I visited and gladly enrolled my daughter in. The teachers I spoke to at Open Days and later at Parent interviews were lovely, genuine people who were more than willing to go the extra mile to help and encourage the students.
There are a number of reasons the school - which is non-selective- is regularly in the top ten schools in Victoria for ATAR scores and VCE results. The teachers are one part, the welcoming community attitude is another, and the focus is on an all-round education with a strong emphasis on justice, social equality and inclusion for all students. My daughter has never been happier at school than she is now. It's well worth the fees.
These reviews are all based on references from other people rather then the person themselves and other information that is not true or compatable.
My daughter attended Sac from Year 7 to Year 12 and I can say the school is amazing! I couldn't speak more highly of it. This review actually comes from people who has been there and has experienced the environment, rather then a judgement made after 1 minute.
The teachers are incredible, top notch. They are friendly and approachable and they really do care about the students! It amazes me! The community spirit at Sac is better than any other I have ever experienced, including my high school Loreto. Honestly it makes me want to have gone there. Everyone knows each other and they make friends from different year levels and aren't seperated by year level boundries like at otherread more
These reviews are ridiculous! My daughter has attended SAC since Prep and I can not talk highly enough of the school. We started the year the original Head of JOIGNY left and her replacement Janine Hogan is amazing, you could not have asked for a more knowledge nor friendly replacement. As for the comment about getting on the tram with the girls not being lady like maybe you should try catching the train with the girls from Korowa or St Catherines or the boys from St Kevins, I believe you wont find a lot of ladies or gentleman among them either, they are teenagers after all. I myself went to a private girls school and i can guarantee my behavior on public transport when I was a teenager was less than stellar. The teachers at SAC are warm and friendly, easily approachable. Maureen Ryan the principal i cannot speak more highly of. We attended many open days at at work days at schools before deciding on SAC for our daughter. One of the main reason we decidedread more
