We came here for a last minute dinner for Fathers Day as per my dads request and we had such a great feed. The food here at Saigon House is always delicious. This time one of the dishes I ordered for everyone to share was a little different from our usual but glad we gave it a try. It was the pork meatballs with vermicelli noodles and satay sauce. Took a while to get used to to the satay sauce flavor being with the vermicelli noodle type but it was nice and tasty nonetheless. I am just used to having the vermicelli noodles in a light sauce flavoring like vietnamese noodle salad type bun bowls. It was nice though. Also decided to try their jackfruit smoothie - that hit the spot! Wish it came in a bigger glass, one glass wasn't enough! ;)
My parents come here quite often and I have joined them a couple of times. They have nice food and quite a large choice of dishes on the menu. Prices are standard, service is friendly and the have quite a number of tables, it does get a little busy though even on weeknights. Really like the salt and pepper chicken. Fried rice was bit dud though, could have more veg or Chinese sausages, was dull.
