We had a great day. Wile received free tickets staying at SeaWorld resort and this gave us easy access from the hotel as well as an additional experience learning about dolphins watching them in the pool. We were also so early in the park it felt like we had it to ourselves for sometime. We loved the shark enclosure, being able to watch from above and below. Whilst we loved seeing a polar bear up close we were really sad at the small enclosure and they appeared distressed (in our lay opinion) with one swimming and clawing at a window looking like he wanted out....there's a lot of land there seems sad it cannot be a larger space whilst they are aiding the conservation efforts. The string Ray enclosure being so close and able to touch was great.
Sea World is a great theme park for the younger kiddies. They will especially love a photo op with the Ninja Turtles and to venture into the new Creatures of the Deep exhibit, which is both colourful delightful for kids and educational.
The Motorcyle coaster and Cyclone offering a bit of thrill for the bigger kids and the Dolphin and Seal shows will keep the little rug rats entertained. When visiting the Shark Reef be sure to venture to the underground viewing tank - spectacular and great photo opportunities.
Visit the polar bears, the Dolphins shows and finish the day with a ride around the park on the monorail. Looking for a little more adventure - book ok a scenic helicopter ride.
Sea World would probably be my least favourite theme park but that is because sea animals don't really interest me. However it isn't a bad one for those who love and enjoy sea life. I think its an ideal and great theme park to take the kids as they can watch and enjoy the dolphin and seal show and there is plenty of kids rides. Also you can see the polar bears in which i do feel sorry for as gold coast is absolutely stinky hot weather but it just looks like the area built for the polar bears isn't cold enough to keep them cool. Of course there is an aquarium so you can see the sharks and sting rays and all the exotic fishes in the sea. I've been once and probably would only go back if ever to take my son.
