Seashells Beachfront Resort

We travelled down from Mackay to attend our son's engagement party. My daughter booked the resort without any recommendations. Sea Shells is a great place for families. The facilities are great for keeping a family entertained and active and having a number of people staying in a unit would make the price affordable over a week. I don't think it is a particularly good option for couples visiting the area for a special occasion. In winter it may pay to take your own heater. We had an oil heater in the room, which took a long time to heat the rooms which were quite chilly. Housekeeping could be to a higher standard as we found food in our cupboards from previous guests and my daughter had a dirty knife in the cutlery in her unit and the spa could use some attention. All necessities should be taken with you as it is approx, 8 klms to the nearest store.

Nice resort on the beach which you can literally walk for miles. The resort has a pool, sauna, spa, mini golf, tennis court, squash and fitness gym. Also a games room. What's nice is that the pool is in the middle of the D shapped resort so you can sit out the front of your room and watch the kids. Nice place for a family holiday.
