I would never recomend this company to anyone.First they installed 4 pannels right in the middle of my Garden that I did not ask for, then they made the fence in the wrong colour and blamed me for signing off on the colour when the rep had given me the name of the colour as apparantly it had changed.I was blamed for it because I signed off on it in the contract.I did not know any of the colours and what they were called this is something the rep informed me of when he came to measure up.Then they installed a motor that was too weak and kept breaking down so they had to install a new stronger motor which they did at no cost to us but it should of been installed correctly in the first place. Now they have sent me a threatening email saying they will remove my Control board if I dont pay my invoice and I had to inform them I sent a cheque over a week ago and perhaps they should check things before threatening to remove my board which I did wait nearly 3 months for ...read more
I had a gate measured and quoted early November 2015 and agreed to on 18 November 2015 with deposit paid on 24th and was promised installation in early January 2016. After delaying my limestone installation to mid Jan 2016 so the gate can be installed first, the gate was still not completed when the limestone wall was built. I was then promised installation before 8th February, and by then, the gate hasn't even finished manufacturing. The week after, the rep told me the gate was at the power-coaters, and a few days later it hasn't even left for the powder-coaters. Now Secure-A-Fence claims to only have stated measuring as of 18 of January 2016 when in fact it was supposed to be completed well before this date. This company is full of lies and they are better at fabricating stories than they are at gates.
Do not trust anything they say!
Mr Wang is correct that he ordered a gate in Nov that was originally scheduled for installation in Jan 2016. He contacted Secure A Fence in Dec and spoke to our sales rep to move the location of the gate and was going to have piers built and would advise us when this was done so we could remeasure for the gates. On 15 Jan our sales rep was in the area and decided to check progress of the piers to find they were built so he took the required measurements. At no stage did Mr Wang advise Secure A Fence that the piers were built. It was only from this date that the gates could be programmed for fabrication. Mr Wang was never promised installation prior to 8 Feb. On 16 Feb Mr Wang demanded that the installation must be on the 17th of February, he was told that we could install on Friday the 19th of Feb which he refused to accept. Our normal lead time for this type of work is 5-6 weeks and from the date that we were able to measure to scheduled installation ...read more
I have mixed feelings about this company. Firstly the actual installation went fairly smoothly. 6 weeks after the quote our gate and fencing was installed and works fine however it's only been 2 months so time will tell. However the after sales service is absolutely pathetic. On the 30th of March a newspaper delivery staff accidentally threw the newspaper into our gate and broke a spike off the sliding gate. I had to get a replacement so I called the company on the 31st of March and asked for a replacement. The person who turns out to be a management staff (I still can't believe it) said it will take a couple of days and theyll call me when it's ready for a fee of $8. So I waited and no phone call. Then I finally called on the 11th of April to find that the management forgot because they didnt write it down! They told me to come on Monday around noon and it would be ready then. So I went there on the Monday late afternoon and it wasn't ready for me. I waited 5 ...read more
