Started as a 16 year old kid, working in the back preparing all the ingredients for the workers, making pastry and learning all the behind the scene operations. Gradually working his way up and making it to the front of house where he learned the art of pizza making from his uncle. As Anthony got older, he had the chance to take over the family business with his older brother. At the age of 18 years old, he became part owner while still studying his VCE. 3 years later, he became the sole operator of the mighty Shannon Pizza where he would in years to come win four awards, two of which would grant him "best pizza shop Geelong and the surf coast 2014 - 2015" voted by Bay FM and the people of Geelong.
