Terrible customer service! Warranty policy non -existent I had a terrible experience with these guys today. Our awning broke off yesterday, the elbow joint just broke completely, leaving the awning to hang halfway on to the deck. It should be covered under warranty and I spoke to the customer service person, then to "the manager" and they just repeated themselves saying it was my fault for leaving it out in bad weather! Arguing this I was told that I will have to pay the call out fee or no-one will come out! I re-assured that we ALWAYS take the awning in when bad weather and the weather yesterday was fine anyway! When I asked to speak to the manufacturer I was told he is downstairs and too busy to talk to me. I said I was very unhappy for being accused of having mistreated the awning which is not even 3 years old and did cost $4000 and was told that this type of problem ONLY happens when left out in bad weather. I said that at least the repair person could assess teread more
Yes should have read the reviews. 4 visits for a straight forward job....initial consultant knows little, then the tradesman to re-measure, then the installer can't do the job as he says he needs a ladder, next installer (original tradesman) does the job without a ladder. Then they leave electrical cords hanging, not attached to power! I knew I needed an electrician but I explained this would take a while and I wanted to connect it up with an extension cord. Head Office was rude and unhelpful. Very disappointing.
Having read all the bad reviews before placing the order, I was hoping I could be one of the minority who will get a good product and good service. Unfortunately not. The range of fabric choice for the roller blinds is acceptable, the quality is average, but the price is slightly above average. The venetian blind options are very limited, quality is very poor (worse than online DIY ones), and cost is double as much. Took 6 weeks for the first delivery which is standard. The installer was drilling holes that are not needed. He was trying to install the chain holders when it is not required (it is above the regulatory height). One of the venetian blind was oversized as the measurer did not measure at three points in the window reveal like she was supposed to so the blades had to be cut down to size. Then the mechanism was found to be jammed and did not lower the blades. He said he will order a replacement blind. I called up two weeks later as I had notread more
I wish I had looked at the reviews for this company before we agreed to go ahead with them. Worst customer service I have ever come across. When they give you a time frame for the arrival of the shutters, work to the latest possible date. They take ages. Once they arrive, they take another two weeks to get to you for installation. One of our shutters was installed with a chip. It was near impossible to have this rectified. Took many months. First time they came to 'fix' it, the job was even worse than to begin with and a mess was left in my home. Customer service is very blase' and basically did not seem to care. In fact they seemed annoyed that we were actually not happy with the job. Had made appointments for which they didn't show. They did not make any attempt to work around my schedule considering the errors were on their part. You basically just need to be available when it suits them. Would have paid someone else more if I had known. Do not use theseread more
