I NEVER recommend these people - no understanding of customer service, compassion and lack professionalism. Give people the benefit of the doubt is my motto.....how mistaken i was, i read reviews about this company but still gave them a go. Our paralegal was a trainee who on the first conversation made me feel sour when asking if they had gotten documents from the bank, the response - we only have a few staff working and I am so busy with cases and I will get to your email as soon as i can (fair enough over Xmas) but how professional is that to respond to your client on purchasing her first home? Other instances, Lack of communication, incorrect balances given days before settlement - no follow up informing us of the changes, charges at the end we weren't aware of - at the end few days before settlement asks us to pay everything when I had enquired a few weeks before but said they would get back to me - yeah too right a day before settlement ...read more
I would not recommend Conveyancing Works to anyone. They do not return phone calls or keep their client informed. They do not listen to their client or follow any instructions provided to them by their client. My settlement was delayed and it cost me more money.
The WORST experience I have encountered.. Don't return calls, get the basics wrong, i basically did the work of the conveyancer!!! Missing documents.. They also Miscalculated our stamp duty and wasn't discovered until 1 month after settlement - which we had to foot!! And once I documented all this they refunded a whooping $50 for our "inconvenience"!! They are a joke. Do your self a favour and steer very very clear!!
