Slices Family Restaurant

Their pepperoni pizza is awesome... ordered this last week, on time delivery and the lady that took my order was very polite. I will love to order from here again!!

I celebrated my husbands birthday here a couple weeks ago and as its the closest restaurant to home we decided to pop in here. We love the pizza here as they are gourmet. The service on this night was pretty busy but we felt looked after by a particular staff. She made sure we were comfortable as we had 2 kids and also allowed us to order the kids meals first as they were hungry as we were yet to decide what pizza we wanted for our dinner. The kids meal came out reasonable fast. It was hot and fresh. As we were yet to decide we ordered some dips to begin the night. It was a reasonable size that didnt make us full so that we could enjoy the 2 large pizza we ordered that followed after. The 2 gourmet pizza we ordered were yummy. Decided to try Slices pizza take away. We ordered the bruschetta pizza and a mexican hot one. I very much enjoyed the bruschetta pizza. Normally other places would dice up the tomatoes and onions but slices made it as chunky bigger pieces which i could taste and went well with the balsamic vinegar and spices and fresh oregano. I ate pretty much the whole pizza to myself and probably only shared one slice with my husband. Perfect size for one and very reasonable price. Comparing to other bruschetta pizza this one is by far my favourite. And glad its close to home.

Definitely a family restaurant as we were not the only family there on a Thursday night. Slices in Caroline Springs is located by the lake so a great view and seating area in the warmer weathers. Seatings and setting of the while restaurant was nicely planned out. Staff were very friendly and accommodating and toilets very clean. We ordered a porterhouse steak with mushroom sauce and salad on the side. The steak came with chunky chips. And the other dish was the seafood basket which was made up of fried fish, calamari and fried prawns with a serving of chips. I very much enjoyed my steak only wished there was more of the mushrooms sauce. My husband said his dish was ok as the fish and prawns were slightly overcooked. The chunky chips were good though.
