I found the whole experience with SMS Security to be very easy. I got a quote done. Staff were very friendly. Rang up on a Sunday to confirm the job and had someone out within a couple of days and installed it all in a couple of hours! It was very straight-forward and I am very happy with the camera picture quality and ease of use! I wish I had of done this years ago! Would definitely recommend.
Hi SMS Security, just want to say thank you on the install of new CCTV and the service of our alarm system the other day. Job well done. Shaun and his team did a fantastic job doing the install of the cameras and servicing the alarm. Which I can control on my smart phone. Customer service tip top from Lisa Jones and SMS team. Will recommend you guys to my family and friends. Keep up the great work guys.
From phone call to fitted in 48 hours, customer service was outstanding as I was 1500km away and for a new neighbour reason I urgently needed home security I could have monitored and I could monitor from a long way away! The equipment is top quality, customer service outstanding, price excellent and installation perfect. I spent quite some time looking and calling around, save yourself the trouble and get SMS onto the job. Excellent.
Our company found them efficient, professional and did a great job. Any follow up or calls were dealt with immediately and after installing an intercom, we have now had a full security monitored system installed. No problems, no issues - happy customer. Thank you.
After planning a year ahead and arranging a quotation with this company whilst overseas to get the security alarm system installed including a downstaris intercom system I got ZERO customer service and ZERO job done. I had to chase them up either by email or phone continuously . They didnt bother to coordinate their part of the job with the builder. All the SMS director could say was - its the builders fault. It was a private job and not included with the building therefore one would think it was their responsibility to coordinate it with the builder. They tended to blame everyone else but themselves. I paid my builder extra $$ to add some points to accommodate the alarm system and intercom. SMS never once apoligised to me for the mishap, then attempted to put the quote up in $$ due to the fact it now has to be a wireless system. This company has NO customer care factor and offers NO professional communication throughout and I decided to go elsewhere. Iread more
We appreciate the time and effort you put in arranging your alarm & intercom install. We too put in the time and effort to arrange matters with your home builder. On contact with your builder it was arranged for the builder to contact us when he was ready for us to visit and pre-wire the site for future installation. Getting in at the pre-wire stage is important on a new build to cut down the labour involved and provide the best possible price. We are unable to check with the builder daily to see when we will be allowed on-site (nor would the builder want us to). Instead it is normal for us to discuss with the builder the necessity of notifying us within a suitable window and then awaiting his call. We are not able to simply show up to complete work at our discretion, we do not know what other installation may be occurring on any particular day and must be mindful of the builders own needs as well as the health and safety of our technicians.
We have to be notified by the builder when we may be on site and this is what had been arranged in your case. As it was, your builder failed to provide the required notification. This resulted in us missing the opportunity to complete a pre-wiring of the job and a significant difference in the job required to be completed that was not agreed as part of the original quote. In our follow-up discussions with the builder in question (who we regularly complete work for) the builder agreed his own responsibility for failing to provide us the notification required.
We sincerely regret any trouble with your installation and are not happy that you feel let down. For any lack in our communication in discussing the issues we had arranging the installation we apologise - we do not want to shirk our responsibility in any way but feel we did sincerely do everything required of us to arrange the installation with the builder.
