Sadly my dealings with this company started out well but very quickly descended into sheer incompetence.
I was not given a sample or record of the colours I had chosen. I chose two but only one was delivered.
I ordered three blinds for one room but only two were quoted on.
Two men came at seperate times to measure so that everything was accurate, the blinds still didn't fit when they arrived.
I advised the installer that there should be nine cream blinds and one grey.
He just went ahead and installed the lot without checking. The blinds delivered were all grey.
Afterwards they denied all responsibility and it was my job to check their work via an extremely convoluted quote that was impossible to decipher on a small screen.
This wasn't the cheapest quote I had but I now wish I had chosen another company.
WARNING -READ THIS BEFORE ENGAGING SOLOMONS BLINDS.
Nearly 3 years ago I engaged Solomon's blinds to install 2 security shutters on my external terrace. Their product looked good, agent was on time, and their quotes were competitive.

Don't buy if you want your blinds to last 3 years
If you don't want your blinds to fall down and fall apart in 3 years then don't buy from Solomons.
The blind construction is light weight (in the bad sense) and installation was incompetent. They used the wrong fixing hardware leaving screws that were so short the threads did not reach the backing plates.
After sales service is abysmal ending with a request to email photos of the issue to which they don't even have the courtesy to reply.
Steer well clear of this crowd

Normally an inspection would be booked to assess the cause of the problem i.e. faulty product or external forces like wind/storm damage, however we can't find you on our service records.

This is our second time around with Clearshield and Solomons. The first time our builder recommended them and this time we went to them directly. As second time customers we were immediately offered a 10% discount which was much appreciated. We went back because of the excellent service and product on our first install some 10 years ago. This time we had a much trickier situation with arched doorways to be security screened. The Clearshield was to be fitted to pre-existing custom made black powder coated aluminum frames (40 mm square section) which sat inside the arched brick double door front entry.
