South West Roofing and Garage Doors

Zero stars for this company, who did a very poor job of putting a new Colorbond roof on my house, by omitting important rainwater downspouts and proper guttering. This caused my entire ceiling to flood during a very heavy rainstorm, shorting out all the electricity and pouring water into my back two storage room areas and causing water damage elsewhere in the house. There was 30mm of water standing on the floorboards for 12 hours. I had to register a formal complaint against this company with the Victorian Building Association in order to get things fixed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

First job repairing my garage door I was fairly happy with, although they rocked up to do it with no prior warning quite a while after I accepted their quote. Then.... the garden shed. They came, inspected the site, asked what I wanted. Several (unreturned) phone calls and weeks later I received the quote. That should have told me enough but not so. I accepted the quote even though I thought it was pretty high, expecting that what I'd asked for was actually what they'd quoted on. Silly me - another mistake on my part. Three months later, yes, you read right, they came to install it, but "sorry, Stratco sent us the wrong roof". Colorbond shed, Zincalume roof, and not the shed I'd asked for in the first place. Didn't know that until it was almost up did I? Don't worry he said, we'll put this roof on and replace it later, but sorry, much later - would have to be after Christmas now.
