I had no cravings whilst I was Christmas shopping here so decided to settle with Sumo Salad as the line wasn't that busy as other places and I thought I should have something on the healthy side! The salads I chose were okay, weren't as tasty as they looked or read on the menu cards but was filling regardless. I do find it a tad on the pricey side though for salads and their serving size for the price.
Good vegan options but the portions are very small, I got the $12.50 box (4four spoonfuls ) I did say something but it was awkward .... If your up for an expensive light snack then yes this is the place .. i mean I could see the bottom of the box - I'm not a big eater but I also don't like to be ripped off
Sumo Salad is a healthy choice. I very much enjoy the options you can choose from on their menu, including the option of creating your own salad with ingredients of your choice that they have available. They have their pre-designed salads that are made fresh to order also and they all sound so good.
The prawns were so tasty - I wanted my hubbies and not mine!!! Hahaha... My salad was a bit dry and some lettuce was wilted.
The fruit salad had heaps of stuff in the big tub, but once in the container hardly any. Plus my daughter wanted the mango yoghurt and they only had the tiniest bit left that they had to mix it with berry. There should have been more available.
