I rang Swan Taxi's today - during business hours, at around 11am, requesting to speak to an officer in regard to the poor behaviour of a TriColor Taxi driver yesterday (who operate under the Swan Taxi Network). I got redirected to an automated response, which gave me a web address where I'd have to leave my personal details before speaking to anybody. I don't feel secure about doing so, so it ended there. You can do your own research and quickly find out what other Taxi companies in Perth belong to Swan. I'll certainly not be sending any business their way.
My friend and I were picked up at separate addresses during the morning for mutual care. We are both war vets ninety years of age. The pickup went well and we were dropped at Glendalough Station for our journey South. When we returned I informed the dispatcher that we were ready to be picked up and in quick time the taxi arrived. We boarded, only to be told that he was only picking up one passenger. After a ten minute argument/discussion with the dispatcher my 90 year old one-legged war vet had to get out and wait on his own for fifteen minutes for another taxi. The same day, Taxi companies were protesting about Uber in the local paper.
This taxi company has absolutely shocking customer service. It is that bad that I'd wonder how they are still in business. I have had issues with them numerous times. To make matters worst, every time I'd mention my issues to the operator I'd basically get a snigger down the phone and have even had them hang up on me! Procedures need to be looked at. Customers need to be informed if the taxi has magically canceled itself or if they can't assign a taxi to the job. The customer can NOT be left outside for hours under the assumption a taxi is on the way!! Poorest service I have EVER witnessed.
