I took my phone in for what I was told will be a simple repair after a quick phone call. However once they had my phone and after they opened it up, it suddenly had all these additional problems which required fixing and parts. When I told them that my phone had none of these additional problems when I gave it to them, the staff kept saying "who is to determine that it worked in the first place" in a very rude way.
I do not recommend this repair shop to anyone, unless you don't mind paying more in repairs than your phone's value. However, if you do decide to take your phone in, make sure you get in writing a receipt that says the phone was received with LCD in tact, speakerphone working, etc.
Took my mobile phone in a couple of months ago, very ordinary service. I ended up paying almost double what I was initially quoted and the job took ages to complete. If I had known how much I will be getting charged I would have probably just bought a new phone instead. It says in the description up the top that they have been repairing phones for over 16 years but I got the impression that they didn't really know what they were doing. Anyway, I am glad I have my phone back now and won't be taking it back to this place again.
Some how my LCD screen on my Motorola Razer died, as I was about to go away, I was frantic. I called every place I found & all the quotes were $300 & no one had the screens in stock. My partner did a search for me & found Sydney Cellular in Berry Street Granville & they had the part & for just $210. PLUS they were only 10 mins from my North Parramatta home & could do the job in just 1 hour.
I could not fault John & Rebecca, they were happy, understanding & professional.
I noticed they also carry second hand phones with 3 months warranty, which is fantastic to know as I have 3 sons & a daughter.
So I thanks to them I can relax & go on my trip with my phone, connected to my friends, family & clients.
Sydney Cellular Repairs are top of my list for all my phone needs.
~^_^~ THANK YOU ~^_^~ SO ~^_^~ MUCH~^_^
A staff told me they would fix my phone in 2 days from a drop off point. After calling them twice in 1 week, i was told they still hadn't even picked up the phone. I was then told it would take two weeks, I was annoyed and said why on earth haven't u picked it up yet or tell me any of this when i called 3 times! The management then proceeded to explain to me how i should have better time management skills. They also asked me why i thought fifteen dollars was expensive and that i should've gotten the phone fixed from someone else for the extra fifteen bucks.Throughout this whole process they did'nt even bother to ask me about when all this happened and in the end decided to resolve the situation by telling me that I should "pick up my phone because I'm not helping you anymore" and then proceeded to cut the phone on me. I'm not saying I was polite throughout the whole convo (especially towards the end) but I don't regret it because doesn't deserve a wellread more
