Tahbilk Winery
It's About Time!Cellar Door
Established in 1860 Tahbilk is one of Australia's most beautiful & historic wineries. Located in the Nagambie Lakes region of central Victoria (120kms north of Melbourne), one of the nation's premium viticultural areas, the property comprises some 1,214 hectares of rich river flats with a frontage of 11 kms to the Goulburn River and 8 kms of permanent backwaters & creeks.
The Cellar Door tasting is a MUST if visiting the winery! Held in the original winery you will be well looked after by our lovely staff as you try a range of different Tahbilk wines on offer. Or take a journey back through time as you wander around the historic cellar door and then head downstairs to the old underground cellars which are classified by the National Trust and are still in use!

Recently went to Tahbilk Winery for a farewell lunch. The Wetlands Cafe forms part of the winter and is a happy medium between Melbourne and Shepparton, located on the Hume just outside of Nagambie. A really relaxing atmosphere, the dining area looks out onto the gorgeous river and surrounds providing a tranquil atmosphere for diners. Unfortunately, it was too cold on the day we went so weren't able to lap up the outdoors but the massive windows still enabled us to peer outside. Wetland's Cafe menu provides a variation of food: wintery pies, toasted sandwich melts, soup, risotto, pizzas. The menu isn't hugely adventurous but there's definitely something to suit most tastes, and with an assortment of sweets you can't really go wrong.

Terrible customer service. I was wanting to purchase a box of wine, but did not due to the staff serving who only let me test one wine and walked off hastily.
Hi there, we're sorry to hear you feel this way. I normally would not respond however I can't let this go unnoticed as it is not what we are about here. Could you please provide us with feedback at admin@tahbilk.com.au so that we can follow this through with the staff. Thank you.
