What a disapointment. This cafe would have to be the most gorgeous little place, the best views. It has the potential to be something amazing. But the service, food, menu let it all down. The staff are slow and look unhappy. The food we had actually wasn't too bad, nothing to write home about but was ok though the coffees and hot chocolates were really not good at all. For such a gorgeous town and a beautiful location they really need to work on being happy and polite.
Look I have been going to jetty's for years. About 4 years ago it went from not a bad place to dine to an overpriced less than impressive menu. My review is based on many experiences not just one bad one. The food is ok but with the price tag they have I go elsewhere now. Really not worth it.
Had the worst dining experience of my life. We were seated inside and it was unbearably hot. We complained and were moved to a table near a window - still very hot. The garlic bread was awful. One cannot expect Italian style garlic bread in Esperance, so if not, do not offer it. My meal of steak was the toughest I've ever had. The so called scotch fillet was a long way from fillet. It was more like rubber tyre than steak. My wife's meal was inedible. We were extremely disappointed. We left early.
Overlooking the port at dawn we take a seat alfresco as our waiter approaches with menues. Querky titles make me smile as I make a selection from the comprehensive list of things to choose from. We had a delicious meal and an understated coffee, seeing nearly every cafe in town claims to offer the best. Later in the day the place is buzzing during the morning tea & afternoon tea rush.
