This spot has been occupied by a string of failed restaurant ventures over the years, so we've been hopeful for a good local restaurant that we could count on for those nights when mum (I) just hadn't gotten her (my) act together for dinner.
This Thai restaurant, despite being Korean owned, is operated by Thai kitchen staff. The food is good neighborhood Thai, but it isn't going to blow your mind or get into any food write ups. We like the pineapple rice and pad see ew, the chili basil stir fry is good, tom yum soup is decent. We try to stay away from ordering prawns here because they use frozen prawns instead of fresh produce.
Thai Kitchen offers local delivery, and it is popular with the locals for takeaway.
While Thai Kitchen isn't worthy of any culinary awards, it is great for what it sets out to be -- a friendly neighbourhood local serving good food in a bright, clean and pleasant environment.
