I'm very skeptical of people having have tasted better thaifood in Sydney. Yes I've had food close to this in quality for less out west(better value), but nothing can beat their food and atmosphere. I would only reccomend this place for a dine in experience unless your earning 6 digits, and don't mind folking out over $20 a meal on takeaway. If the price is still to steep for a dine in experience (I wouldn't blame you) go for the specials at thai-rific (this place is only a touch lessread more
Thai Ways at Newtown station is a Cute tiny little extension to the famous Thai Pothong just down the road. It's designed specifically for the foot traffic in and out of Newtown Station offering quick lunch packs you can eat in or take with you. I love the interior of the restaurant. It's a well decorated space which has a great lively atmosphere in the dinner period. It accommodates big groups well which my friend held a birthday dinner of about 20. They have the usual Thai dishes but a larger entree menu which are displayed so nicely on their plates. We also ordered pad Thai which we thought tasted the same to other cheaper places but it's the finer dining experience that sets it apart from other Thai restaurants!
