I wouldn't mind going back to the Apo to eat a full meal there, as when we went it was for a drink and appetiser while waiting for friends. It's an interesting set up, and I like that you can see into the kitchen. Our food was served on an imported rock, which was interesting. Kooky place!
I don't feel I fully experienced the Apo, as we merely stopped here for pre-dinner drinks. At any other time I would have poured over the cocktail menu, which sounded fantastic - and will definitely be my reason for returning. But even in my brief experience, the Apo looks to be a wonderful bar - well set up, attentive wait staff and a great use of their space that extends out into Bakery Lane behind. Another great place that's taking great steps to improve the valley bar scene!
