Our first pit stop of the Peek Tour of the Rocks.
Did you know that they had 140 beers? Well now you do. They also have a passport you can obtain and if you get all the beers drunk and signed off in your passport you get your name on a shiny plaque.
What great incentive right? Well at least it's incentive to keep coming back. If only to try out a different beer on eachread more
This isn't my favourite pub in the rocks, but it certainly isn't the worst. In fact I will have to say that I really don't mind it at all, but then again since most of the times that I've been here it's been pretty crowded would suggest that quite a few people share my opinion on the place. The have their own special beer, which they recommended that I try, though I will have to say that I wasn't really all that impressed with, but it wasn't all that bad. One of the things that I did like about the place were all of the paintings on the wall – I really like paintings. There are a couple of sides to the bar, though there is really no difference to either of them. It would certainly be on my list of pubs to check out in the Rocks.
This place is cool because it feels really Aussie and has heaps native food to eat. Yes, by native I mean crocdile, kangaroo and emo featuring on pizza. As a result I think this is a cool place for tourists.
Personally I found the food good, but average. It could just be the dishes I tried though, I will be keen to try some of the other dishes.
This place serves up Australia's most exotic animals for us to consume! Now even our Coat of Arms are served in a pizza.
The food here was nice, shame we didnt get to try the desserts because we were so full. I never had crocodile or Emu before so this was an experience. I loved their chicken wings, peaking duck pizza, steak pizza and their Aussie pot pie ??
Rustic pub showing what aussies are about! Rought around the edges!!!
